4AM Roster Announced On Weibo; Eurus Is Not The Carry

The Dota 2 community will no longer be left cooling their heels as the Chinese super team, 4AM has finally unveiled its roster. For the last two months, there have been innumerable speculations regarding the 5 man of the team and later, about the final release of the roster. Now, we place the final puzzle of the Mega Chinese Roster Shuffle as Elephant.4AM has revealed their final team.

4AM Roster releases with a twist  

The roster announcement of 4AM has been revealed with a little surprise. While the rumours have been on point in the inclusion of Maybe, Yang, fy and RedPanda to the team, the carry player for the team is not Eurus. Infact, ex- Ehome player Liu “Sylar” Jiajun has joined in as the position 1 player for the team. 

fy had announced two days earlier that the team had arrived in Shanghai and were ready to unveil their roster on October 1. In the statement released by 4.AM, they have mentioned their collaboration with a well known Chinese company Little Elephant and Big Goose Culture the final organization will be termed as 4AM. Little Elephant. They further wrote, “ The team and the Elephant Bgoose organization have come together on the Dota 2 project as a strategic alliance and both the parties are passionate to build this team into one of most commercialized e-sports teams in China.”

It is being speculated that 4AM and ViCi Gaming were involved in an agreement. One of ViCi Gaming’s founders has criticized 4AM for its roster updates on Weibo. According to him, Eurus is still under contract with VG until September 2021. Considering the fact that VG has already signed 23Savage, there is a high possibility that 4AM backed off at the last minute to take Eurus. The speculated amount of this transfer is being rumoured at around 1.8 million RMB (260K USD).

It will be interesting to see if there are any true elements in this rumour. Also, there is no information currently, about which team Eurus is going to join. For the time being, 4AM still has a legendary squad and will be possibly making their debut in upcoming Chinese tournaments.
