TEC Gauntlet Season 1: Eight Teams Qualify for Playoffs

TEC Gauntlet Season 1’s regular season has come to an end with eight teams headed to the playoffs.

Global Esports, Godlike Esports, F1LS Esports, and Team Valor have qualified from Group A.

Velocity Gaming, Enigma Gaming, Samurai Esports, and The Esports Team have qualified from Group B.


TEC Gauntlet Season 1’s first regular season has ended and eight teams are heading to the playoffs. The month-long league stage saw four teams from each group qualify to the next stage of the event. In the next stage, there will be a double-elimination bracket with best-of-three matches and the top two teams will qualify for the grand finals. The ongoing event seeks to offer a long-term roadmap for Valorant Esports in South Asia while creating additional opportunities for both teams and their players. TEC Gauntlet Season 1 kicked off in June 2021 and will conclude on 1st Aug 2021. Here are all of the teams that have qualified for the playoffs.

TEC Gauntlet Season 1 Playoffs overview

During the playoffs, there will be a double-elimination bracket featuring best-of-three matches and the grand finals will have a best-of-five showdown.

The playoffs prize breakdown is as follows for Season 1:

1st Place – INR 500,000 ($6,870 USD)

2nd Place – INR 250,000 ($3,434 USD)

3rd Place – INR 100,000 ($1,374 USD)

4th Place – INR 50,000 ($687 USD)

Following the end of Season 1, there will also be an All-Star event which will take place before the start of Season 2. The dates for the All-Star event are yet to be announced.
