How To Trade Items In Rocket League
Players can exchange various items with each other in Rocket League.
Players can trade Rocket League on platforms like Rocket League Garage and the Rocket League Exchange on Reddit.
Players will need to create a party with their trading partner before they can trade items in Rocket League.
Rocket League allows players to trade items with other players via a dedicated trading system. The feature was implemented in patch v1.22 in September, 2016. Players can trade multiple items during any transaction, provided it is mutually agreed upon by the two parties. The tradability of an item is decided upon which platform it was originally crafted on. Under Psyonix cross-platform, trading was not enabled. However, in September 2020, when Epic Games took over Psyonix, they enabled crossplay and a limited version of cross-platform trading. There are many places players can find items up for trade in Rocket League including the Rocket League Garage and the Rocket League Exchange on Reddit.
Trading Items in Rocket League
As mentioned before, whether or not you can trade an item depends on which platform it was crafted on. For example, if you craft a Blueprint using credits on PC, you won’t be able to trade that item with Xbox players, even if you log into the game with an Xbox. Players will also need to enable 2FA to be able to trade. To ensure safety of trades, the certain requirements were added in patch v1.94. Before trading, new accounts will need to reach XP Level 30 and have 50+ minutes in online matches. Players with different XP levels are subject to different credit limits and frequency of trade.
Accounts with XP Levels 30-99:
Can trade three times per day
Limit of 2,000 Credits per trade
Accounts with XP Levels 100-249:
Can trade ten times per day
Limit of 10,000 Credits per trade
Accounts with XP Level 250 or greater:
Unlimited trades per day
Limit of 100,000 Credits per trade
Both players will need to be online to start and accept trades.

4. Once both players agree on what items to exchange, click ‘accept’.
Both players will get confirmation prompts of the items received. There is a five second countdown period after both players click ‘accept’ to change your mind about the trade. If either player changes the items up for trade, the confirmation will be canceled.

Once both players accept the offerings, there is a five second cooldown where they can change their minds.
On Steam, players will need to add the other player to their friend list to be able to trade with them. If your trade involves more than 10 items, be sure to scroll up and down to ensure all items are present before confirming. Trading in small batches makes it easier to keep an eye on everything.
