Twitch and Several Other Popular Online Websites Are Currently Down


Countless popular websites including Twitch and Reddit are down. Shortly after the outage reports of CDN provider Fastly facing issues that led to the outage. The firm confirmed that it is facing an outage and that it is “currently investigating the potential impact to performance” on its CDN services. Twitch viewers reported that they are unable to access the website and are running into a “Service Unavailable” error when trying to launch the website. Twitch’s services should be restored shortly once Fastly restores its functionality.

Streaming Service Twitch is Inaccessible

In addition to websites like New York Times, Reddit and Spotify, streaming service Twitch is also down leaving millions of users unable to access the website. Users are running into a “Error 503 Service Unavailable” error when trying to access the site. Some users may also receive a “Fastly Error” when trying to access the site. It is currently unknown how long it will take until the issue is resolved for Twitch.
