Apex Legends Leaks About Ash’s Abilities Most Likely Fake
Ash is one of the most enigmatic characters in Apex Legends and fans have been eagerly waiting for her introduction to as a legend for months. She was first featured in Titanfall 2 as a boss and was added to Apex Legends as part of the Broken Ghost questline in Season 5. The questline saw Ash being revived by the Apex community and she was recently introduced as the Arenas’ commentator. Recent discussions have suggested that she will be added as a playable character in a future season. While it is possible that she will be added, the leaked ‘gameplay’ screenshot is most likely fake according to the community.
Ash Will Have A Dash Ability Similar to Titanfall 2
Respawn Entertainment has finally started merging the Apex Legends and Titanfall 2 timelines with the introduction of Valkyrie as a playable legend. She is the daughter of Viper, who was a boss from Titanfall 2. Ash was also one of the bosses in the game and she is currently the Arenas’ manager in Apex Legends. A recent leak highlighted a dash ability that allows the character to instantly move a short distance, which was shown off as her tactical ability. The leak falls in line with previous reports that hinted at a dash ability back in Season 8. However, the leaks were dismissed as fake by the moderators of the ApexUncovered subreddit.
The image posted on the forum showed Ash as a playable character in the game. It is unknown if the image is legitimate or not. She may also be added as a PVE character in the game. In the past, Respawn Entertainment has talked about adding more Titanfall content to Apex Legends and has also talked about potential single-player content.
In addition to Ash’s potential leaks, datamined information about the game’s next legend ‘Pariah’ has also emerged. The upcoming legend is rumored to release in Season 10. Her abilities are expected to include:
- Passive – Aplomb Training: Pariah can see enemy health bars. Pariah is also immune to stunning effects and SDM steam.
- Tactical – Sonar Grenade: Throw a sonar grenade revealing enemies in its area of effect. Grenade lasts for 15 seconds.
- Ultimate – Sacrificial Romantic: Pariah activates an SDM device releasing a flurry of steam in all directions but becomes unable to move. Steam causes burn damage directly to health.
However, the studio revealed that it is unlikely to add any single-player elements at the cost of crunch at the workplace. Fans of the game could still be a long time away from seeing Titanfall antagonists Blisk and Ash being added to the Apex Legends as playable characters.
