CS:GO Map Creator Designs Perfect Cyberpunk 2077 Version of Train
One of the oldest competitive CS:GO maps Train recently received a Cyberpunk 2077 themed remake and it actually looks really amazing. The map has been developed by ‘Guinness World Record’ attaining Australian content creator Luke Millanta who goes by the name of ‘lmtlss’ on Steam. He has previously designed various other Cyberpunk 2077 themed CS:GO maps like Mirage 2077, Dust II077, and Overpass 2077, all of them being an instant hit with the CS:GO community. A similar reception has been acquired by ‘Train 2077’ which actually looks something straight out of Cyberpunk 2077 itself, with a lot of pink neon lighting while being surrounded by huge high-rise buildings.
Cyberpunk 2077 version of CS:GO map Train created
Imagine stepping into Train and finding yourself drowned by an abundance of neon lighting, that is exactly how the Cyberpunk 2077 version of the game feels like. The periphery of the map has a lot of high-rise buildings looming down on you, making the train station look more or less like a metro station, as it gives off a more urban vibe.
But at the same time, it completely satisfies the premise of the sci-fi look that the ‘Cyberpunk 2077’ game is built around. The ‘Danger’ signs look modern and the dull ‘B-Site’ now looks both hip and flashy, thanks to the huge pink coloured digital hoarding on one side of the wall.
While the main sites have ample light and look really great, the connecting hallways have a bit of a darker undertone. Giving off a proper unsafe corridor type of vibe, but it does not interfere with any visibility issues as the lightning throughout the map is well balanced.
However, the best part about the map is that the faceoff between the 2 sides will now be taking place during the night time, enough of always fighting under the daylight. This gives players a chance to experience something new and compliments the overall sci-fi lighting theme adopted by the creator.
The details on the map are immaculate like guiding floor neon lightings at certain places which add more depth to the map aesthetically. Also, despite being in the background, the high-rise buildings are well designed and finished properly. You can distinguish between the buildings which shows that time and care has been taken to make the map stand out.
As for what the CS:GO community thought about the map, well it was once again a home run with the Steam Workshop page of Train 2077 receiving a plethora of awards from the users. The creator has now completed a total of 4 maps under the Cyberpunk 2077 collection and has announced that the next map receiving this makeover would be Nuke.
