Along with this, the tournament will also feature a skin drop event for all the viewers who will be watching the event live on Twitch from 23-26 March. 5E Arena Open Season 1 – Playoffs

The open qualifier for both the regions witnessed some serious competition, as only the top 8 teams managed to make their way through to the playoffs. The playoffs for the East Asia region is scheduled to take place from 23-24 March, while for the Southeast Asia region it is scheduled to take place from 25-26 March.

The top 4 teams from both these regions will be making their way through to an even bigger CS:GO tournament called ‘Funspark ULTI 2021: Asia Season 1’, where 16 teams from all across Asia will be dueling it out to find which is the best CS:GO team from the region.

East Asia

The $5,000 USD tournament will feature some top CS:GO teams like The Black Company, Checkmate, D13, and more. The Mongolian dominated playoffs stage does have a few teams from other regions as well, like After Gaming from China, Blank from South Korea, and OS E-sport from Taiwan.

The single-elimination, best-of-three bracket is quite brutal which does not offer a second chance to any of the CS:GO teams participating. However, the prize pool has been divided in such a way that all the teams will be walking away with a portion of it.

Southeast Asia

The $5,000 USD tournament will feature some top CS:GO teams like Huat Zai, Asking Questions, ZIGMA, and NG Esports. This event will be starting after the East Asian tournament comes to an end, and will follow a similar format and prize pool distribution. The schedule for the opening matchups have already been announced, with NG being the favorites to win the whole SEA event.

Viewers Skin Drop Event

The tournament will also be featuring something exciting for all the viewers, as they will be offered a chance to win some free skins as drops during the duration of the tournament. Random viewers during the live broadcast of the match on Twitch will receive a gift code, which they can redeem for an actual skin on the organizer’s platform ‘5E Arena International’. The tournament will be livestreamed on 5E Arena’s official Twitch channel called ‘5E_Arena‘.
