WFH League Season 3 Has Been Announced
Win From Home (WFH) League Season 3 has been announced. Following the event’s success last year, the tournament is back for a third season this year. The ‘corporate’ event operated by Esports Insider (ESI) and esports organizer Platform sees colleagues team up and compete against other companies in a wide variety of esports titles such as Rocket League, Counter-Strike: GO (CS: GO), and Brawlhalla. This year, the WFH League Season 3 is expanding further with three campaigns – Spring, Autumn, and Winter, across 2021. The first of these three campaigns, the Spring series, will take place online from May 10 until May 30, 2021. Here are more details for the Win From Home League Season 3.
Win From Home League Season 3 Details
WFH League is a ‘corporate’ esports league, co-operated by Esports Insider and Platform. The event features colleagues teaming up with companies playing against other companies in an organized and casual but competitive multi-game tournament series.
For the Spring series of the Win From Home League Season 3, a total of three tournaments will be held. Eight teams will showcase their skills on Rocket League (3v3), CS: GO Wingman Mode (2v2), and Brawlhalla (2v2) for a chance to earn the title of WFH League champions along with a generous amount of prizes.
“Last year, we very much found our feet and made significant improvements from Season 1 to Season 2, which was nicely reflected in the viewership on Twitch. We really appreciated the support of the industry and community, indeed all those involved in making it happen, and we can’t wait to kick off our third season, especially since in the Autumn it’ll include our first IRL edition at Platform in London,” stated WFH League’s Co-founder, Esport Insider Managing Director, Sam Cooke, and Platform COO, Nicolo Portunato, in a joint statement.
In the previous season, WFH League has also partnered with a UK-based charity organization, SpecialEffect, to raise money for a good cause. Over the last two seasons, the organization has raised over £3,500 ($4,900 USD).
During seasons 1 and 2, Teams.gg, Hitmarker, Hiro Capital, and Kairos have crowned as the champions. It would be interesting to see who would claim the crown in this year’s WFH League Season 3.
